Pratik Pakhale
Most of what I build starts as me fixing my own problem
Work
The last couple of years I've been building products at places working on problems I find interesting.
Founding Engineer
Dec 2024 — present- •Shipped Elemetry, a cache engine that stores browser actions in an in-memory vector graph database, leveraging browsing history to accelerate repetitive tasks
- •Designed dual-model (ephemeral events vs. persisted blocks) real-time streaming pipeline for frontend rendering of realtime agentic work
- •Built a text-to-video motion-graphics system with a React rendering engine, director's-board approval flow, parallelized frame-by-frame export on serverless GPUs, and a full audio toolkit
- •Also shipped canvas editor, raccoon-inspector, worked heavily on chat app's state management and performance
Research Intern
Jul 2023 — Dec 2024- •Built adaptive learning system with video bots for student engagement
- •Implemented feedback platform — React, Express, Flask running deep learning model
- •Shipped as Docker container and Electron app for offline use
- •Lead backend developer on GeoGuru — LMS with geographical information system
Open source & volunteering
Along the way, I build for communities I'm part of.
Mentoring a GSoC project on LLM-assisted extraction of agronomic and ecological experiments into structured data.
Integrated JSON schema parser into FieldActivity R Shiny app. Reworked data structures for complex management scenarios.
Added cmux.json support for custom commands.
Projects
On my own time, I build tools I wish existed — some to learn, some to scratch an itch, some just for fun.
Netlify Drop, but personal. My agents deploy quick static sites to it all day
Browse multiple UI component registries in one place. Auto updated from ShadCN registry
npx pakhale setup agents — keeps my coding agents (Claude Code, opencode) configured identically on every machine, from one command
Event management platform for college clubs — registration to ticketing. 125k+ API calls and counting.
Omegle MITM — proxy that lets you spy on what two random strangers are talking about. "For education".
Hardware & builds
Sometimes those tools are things I can hold.
RC Car
Remote-controlled car — motors, circuits, and way too much soldering.
Light Controller
Room's LED light controller :)
Raspberry Pi 500
photoMy dev box and that controls my hermes agents, automations and everything around me.

Hoodie Pen Stand
photo3D-printed Nike hoodie pen stand. Not my design, but I like it a lot :))
